about us

We built an app where you can't write your own profile.
Writing our own "about us" page felt wrong!

So we asked the people who know us instead.

Aarzu, by the sea
aarzu, on a good day

Aarzu Kedia

co-founder
LinkedIn

aarzu celebrates every small and, obviously, big win like it deserves its own headline.

deepanshu (boyfriend)

aarzu has an obsession with planning trips to the t and making you follow that itinerary because she believes in doing everything and checking it off her list.

aditi (sister)

Gaurang, city lights
ships before he sleeps

Gaurang Gujrati

co-founder
LinkedIn

gaur is the type of person who will rage bait you so much that he has to make it up by getting you your favourite food.

arohi (bestfriend)

vouching for him feels risky because now other people will know my source for getting things done at 2 a.m.😭

vansh (close friend)

Kartik, palm trees
absolutely part of this

Kartik Jindal

founding member
LinkedIn

one of those very annoying people who's good at talking to people, following through, and remembering details. which, unfortunately for him, made him perfect for this.

aarzu & gaurang
(kartik would hate that we wrote this. which is why it stays.)
a note from us

to you, thank you for scrolling all the way down here.

we're the team behind fmble. mostly aarzu and gaurang, plus kartik, who was supposed to be “helping out” and is now very obviously part of this.

we've both had very different experiences with dating apps.

aarzu met her boyfriend on her third app date in college and they're still together 3 years later.

gaurang got back on the apps after a long relationship and kept feeling like something important was missing from the experience.

dating apps made the pool infinitely bigger. that's an incredible thing.

but older ways of meeting people had something apps never really figured out how to keep. friends knowing both of you. shared stories. someone being able to say “wait, i actually think you'd get along.”

we kept coming back to that feeling.

so we set out to build fmble.

if you use fmble and something feels broken, tell us. if you meet someone interesting, definitely tell us.

hello@fmble.comyes, an actual human reads this.
